My art portfolio showcases a diverse range of techniques, primarily focused on the use of watercolour and ink.I place great emphasis on traditional methods, often crafting my own materials from natural sources. I often create earth pigments by gathering and processing raw minerals or making dyes from plants to form into pigment, resulting in unique, richly textured colours that are deeply connected to the landscape and heritage of the UK. Similarly, I produce handmade inks that lend a distinctive depth and vibrancy to my work, allowing me to explore nuanced tonal variations and subtle washes.I have worked on several projects for non-fiction, picture book, sculpture, and other media; collaborating with a range of businesses, charities, and museums.Click on an image to view each portfolio.
